Sept. 15-16, 60 emerging leaders from the Leadership Columbia Class of 2012 set out to White Oak Conference Center for the program’s annual retreat.
During the two day retreat, classmates worked together in various team building activities including a challenging high ropes obstacle course.
The group also engaged in a personality assessment test and discussion led by Don Jenkins.
At the end of the retreat the class voted on three class project ideas: health & human services, cultural and literacy initiative and military service. Over the next 3 weeks, the class will further develop their project ideas to present to the full class on Oct. 11 – Education Day.
