The City of Columbia and Lexington County are holding a Green Business Workshop on August 1, 2012 at Sonoco Recycling (1132 Idlewilde Blvd Columbia, SC 29201) from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Attendees will learn about ways to improve their business’s recycling efforts a
nd how to start a green purchasing program. The workshop will also include a tour of the Sonoco Recycling Center.
This is an exciting time to visit Sonoco Recycling as they have some incredible new equipment and are expanding their recycling programs. Take advantage of this opportunity to be one of the first businesses to learn about it!

This workshop is being held as part of the Midlands Green Business Challenge, but you not have to be a Midlands Green Business Challenge participant to attend. If you are, however, your organization will receive bonus Challenge points.
