COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Dunn as senior sales manager and Dawn Martin as an account executive for the organization.
Over five successful years at the Columbia Chamber as an account executive, Dunn fostered relationships and integrated many new businesses into the Columbia Chamber. Most notably, he was responsible for the creation of the Chamber’s satellite office in Northeast Columbia. In Dunn’s new role, he will lead the Columbia Chamber in the development and execution of all sales activities. He will establish a strategic sales plan to increase the membership base and will continue to facilitate the efforts of the Columbia Chamber to achieve maximum growth.
Along with Dunn’s appointment, the Columbia Chamber also hired Dawn Martin as an account executive. As part of the team, Martin will be responsible for the recruitment of new members, the development and maintenance of relationships with local businesses and the expansion of the Columbia Chamber’s membership base.
“We are excited about our newest additions to the sales team,” said Ike McLeese, president and CEO of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce. “I am confident that Paul has the knowledge and experience to lead a successful team, and know that Dawn will be beneficial in the growth of the organization.”
Prior to joining the Columbia Chamber, Dunn held several managerial positions. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in education and business from Georgetown College in Kentucky and participated in the education graduate degree program from Miami University in Ohio.
Martin graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics. She is an experienced mortgage banker and sales account manager.
