Kip McAlister Joins McNair Law Firm, P.A.

Columbia, S.C. (June 21, 2012)— Kip McAlister has joined McNair Law Firm, P.A. as an Associate in its Columbia, South Carolina office. He will focus his practice on the defense of  industry and business in Environmental Regulatory compliance cases in State and Federal Courts.

Kip received an undergraduate degree in Physics from Presbyterian College before attending the Charleston School of Law, where he received his Doctorate of Law in May 2009.  There he served as a Student Bar Association Senator and on the Executive Leadership Council.  Prior to joining McNair, Kip worked as an Assistant Solicitor to the Honorable J. Strom Thurmond, Jr. in the Second Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s Office in Aiken, SC.  Kip also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Thomas A. Russo of the South Carolina Circuit Court.

COLUMBIA, SC (June 26, 2012) NAI Avant names Michael Grant as Information Technology and Research Associate.

Grant joins NAI Avant with over 20 years of experience in information technology, graphic communications and graphic design. Grant previously worked as Senior Designer for Benedict College. Grant also taught graphic communications and computer fundamentals in Richland School District One. Grant is a graduate of Benedict College with a Bachelors of Art in Commercial Art. Grant will oversee all information technology and assist in research for both the Columbia and Charleston offices.
