New Carolina is partnering with the Faber Entrepreneurship Center at University of South Carolina’s Moore School of Business and the S.C. Department of Commerce to conduct a survey to identify the greatest challenges that privately-held South Carolina companies are experiencing when attempting to secure debt and/or equity capital.
Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce members are encouraged to participate in the survey.
Results from the survey, along with feedback from leaders in South Carolina’s financial community, will be used to produce a report that will examine South Carolina’s capital market gaps and identify opportunities for improving access to capital for companies that are headquartered in the state. The report will be published in October 2012.
This survey will take less than 10 minutes to complete. All responses to this survey will be kept completely confidential. No information from individual survey responses will be used for any other purpose than to analyze South Carolina’s capital markets. Participants will receive a free copy of the report.
