The Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce hosted a reception this past Tuesday celebrating the contributions of small and minority businesses to the Greater Columbia Region.
There were 72 in attendance for this networking event, and the following topics were discussed:
- the Chamber’s Small and Minority Business 2013 Plan of Action
- the City of Columbia’s resources available to assist small businesses
- Richland County programs designed to support small businesses
- Business networking opportunities
“The interest level in small and minority business is at an all time high. We would like to thank everyone who contributed their hard work to making this reception a bell ringer, ” said Lee Catoe, special assistant to the CEO and director of community affairs at the Greater Columbia Chamber. “We hope to capitalize on this success in the planning of future events. “
