NAI Avant Senior Investment Broker, Dail Longaker, recently represented the owner of the Aiken Exchange in Aiken, SC, with the sale of the 101,558 square foot shopping center.  The Target shadow anchored center was acquired by Ravid Aiken, LLC for $4 million.

Dick Stanland, CCIM, SIOR and Nick Stomski, SIOR, both brokers with NAI Avant, recently facilitated the lease of a Class “A” distribution center currently under construction at 1510 Key Road in Columbia, SC.  Trane USA, a division of Ingersoll Rand, will occupy the facility in late January, 2014. The new 38,500 square foot industrial building was planned for the South Columbia submarket as demand continues for quality buildings with modern features in the area.  The facility was designed with attractive details such as 28’ foot eave heights and T-5 lighting.  “This is the first speculative Class “A” warehouse space that’s been built in the Bluff Road area market in several decades,” said Stanland.  “The fact that a tenant has been solidified before the completion of construction demonstrates the need for more quality industrial space in the South Columbia submarket.”

NAI Avant brokers, Jeff Hein, SIOR, and Roger Winn, recently represented the Landlord in the lease of approximately 86,000 square feet at Broad River Commons in Columbia, SC.  TPUSA, Inc., the new tenant, is a customer relations management company headquartered in Salt Lake City, UT.  The 135,675 square foot facility accommodating the new contact center is strategically located at Broad River Road and I-20.
