Donors could give blood and vote for their favorite team, USC or Clemson; this year, USC won by a landslide.
Sponsors of the blood drive also donated $1,000 to the American Red Cross chapter to support its lifesaving mission. The blood drive was sponsored by Agapé Senior, Edens, MGC Insurance Defense, Nelson Mullins, NBSC and Nexsen Pruet.
Those who were unable to attend Friday’s blood drive can still make a difference in the work of the Red Cross. Long-sleeved Carolina-Clemson blood battle shirts are available to purchase, and proceeds will benefit the Red Cross chapter.
